Merivale House Bed and Breakfast is a Georgian property offering welcoming accommodation. Opened in June 2009 and recently accredited as a Wolsey lodge. The house overlooks the Green, backing onto the village church and is a peaceful location within walking distance of the lovely city of Salisbury.The 1st floor rooms rooms are tastefully decorated (the steep, narrow cottage stairs may be a problem for some guests). From London and the M3:Take M3 to A303 continue alond until the A343 turn off signposted Salisbury. At roundabout take the 2nd exit A338 Salisbury (Former A30) At the small roundabout at approach to Salisbury take the 1st exit Church Road. Continue for 0.9 miles. Turn right onto the Green Laverstock. Merivale House is the only 3 storey House on the GreenFrom Portsmouth and Southampton:Take A36. On approaching Salisbury take small turning to right onto Peters Finger Road. Turn left onto Milford Mill Road. Turn right onto Manor Farm Road. Turn right onto Laverstock Road continue along Riverside Road then turn left onto the Green Laverstock. Merivale House will be facing you.From the West:Take the A303 east. Turn right onto the a36 towards Salisbury. Follow signs to Salisbury through Wilton. You will approach Salisbury at the roudabout with The Wilton Arms pub to your right. Take the 2nd exit Churchill Way West (A36)(past Waitrose store to your left) to the next roundabout. Take the 2nd exit Churchill Way North (A36). At the next roundabout take the 3rd Exit Wain-a long Road signposted Laverstock. At the bottom of the hill bear right then left under the railway bridge onto Laverstock Road. Continue along Riverside Road until the Green Laverstock turn left and Merivale House is facing you.A35A354:Follow signs for Salisbury. As you enter the City you will go over a couple of roundabouts before seeing the Cathedral ahead of you at this roundabout take the 2nd exit Exeter Street. Continue onto St Johns Street. Continue straight ahead at the traffic lights onto Catherine Street. Turn right onto Milford Street and continue straight on at the traffic lights up Milford Hill. Turn left onto Sady Bower. Continue down hill onto Laverstock Road. Continue along Riverside Road until The Green Laverstock. Turn left onto the Green and Merivale House will be facing you.
