Cools Farm BB Salisbury

Our farm is in the most beautiful countryside on the Wiltshire Dorset border. We offer you Bed and Breakfast in our C17th listed stone farmhouse in a choice of 3 bedrooms. Self catering is also available. The Edwards Room has a 6 foot double bed and private bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower. The French Room has a 5 foot double bed and the Family Room has either a 6 foot double or two twin beds, plus a double futon or Z bed. Cots and highchairs are available at no extra charge. The French and Family Rooms share a private bathroom. The Old Piggery is a studio apartment in a self contained building within our large garden. It has a 5 foot double bed and a single sofa bed, separate kitchen and shower room and its own garden. It is let on a self catering basis for a minimum of 3 night stays. Breakfast can be taken in the farmhouse at an extra cost.You can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time here. We have a herd of Red Poll Cattle on our organic farm and our own chickens lay your delicious breakfast eggs. You can see the stars in the night sky and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Stonehenge, Longleat, Salisbury, the beautiful gardens at Stourhead, Bath and the South Coast are all within easy reach, and if you're travelling west from London, we make a good stopping off point - though many of our guests wish to stay longer than just one night!

Directions

From the A303, take A350 south towards Shaftesbury, Poole and Blandford. At the traffic lights, turn left on B3089 towards Hindon. In Hindon, by The Lamb Inn, turn right down the High Street. At the bottom, turn right over a small bridge and carry on this road through the woods for 1.8 miles. At the grass triangle and signpost, turn right down the hill. The farm is just down there on the left.The postcode SP3 6DB takes you to a white house, Cools Cottage. This is not us, we are the farm on the same lane.
